For this project, I began collecting swatches of hair from important people in my life. I wanted a way of storing and remembering these people that would be apart from an address book. In Victorian times, people asked celebrities for a lock of hair, while today we most likely ask for an autograph. "The Library of Congress" even has a collection of historic figures hair. Life changes so quickly, so this book is my means of remembering the people I meet, of creating my own informative (DNA) and, perhaps, somewhat odd collection.
